Monroe Community College has an expensive wish list. The college's Board of Trustees approved a $194 million plan for campus improvements.

MCC's plans include renovating existing buildings and expanding others, moving the downtown campus to the Kodak building, and building, and building a new four-story interdisciplinary center that would include a library at the front of the school. MCC's president says students are using the library for more than just books these days.

"We have wonderful library. It was built in late 60s and hasn't been expanded to meet needs of growing student population and meet the changing needs that our educational programming requires," president Ann Kress said.

The college is seeking funding for the plan which is targeting improvements throughout 2018. T
