By: Andrew Banas
Updated: October 6, 2012
Sad news from the Seneca Park Zoo, Puff the Sea Lion has died.

Since his arrival at the zoo in 2007, Puff was a crowd pleaser. He would wave at the crowd and delight the children with his dives.

Zoo officials say Puff underwent anesthesia for a procedure and did not recover. The entire zoo family was shocked by his death. There is a remembrance memorial in the Rocky Coasts Gallery where zoo visitors can pay tribute to Puff.
