President Obama and Governor Romney faced tough questions tonight from moderator Jim Leher.

The two battled over health care and the economy, and both seem far apart over how taxes can help our struggling economy.

For undecided voters like Freshman U of R student Michael Heeley, one debate wasn't enough for either candidate to win his vote, "Our country faces a lot of issues, I'm finding," says Heeley, "and I find the more I learn about the more informed I become it's harder to make a conviction of which side is better. On the one hand there's the benefits of things like the affordable care act and things like that, but every day we're increasing our debt so I understand the fiscal responsibility that the republicans talk about."

President Obama and Mitt Romney will debate two more times before the November election.
