Trevond Jones rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns as Athena rallied to beat Olympia 28-13 on Maiden Lane Saturday afternoon.

Olympia led 13-7 at the half, but Athena recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff. It appeared the Spartan defense would hold the Trojans scoreless, but Frank Carnevale hit Ryan Prevost for a 33 yard TD pass on 4th and seven. The score gave Athena the lead and they never looked back.

After forcing a punt, Jones broke free for a 56 yard run to the Olympia 15. Jones later capped the drive with a one yard TD run.

The next punt never got out of the Olympia backfield. Yunis Ashkar blocked it and the Trojans recovered at the Olympia 12 yard line. Jones scampered in on the next play to close the scoring.

Olympia's points came on two Bryan Collister field goals and a Alex Watson fumble recovery in the end zone.

Prevost ended with 88 yards and two touchdowns on four catches.
