Six Escape Fire on Barons St.

Six people escaped an early morning fire at a home on the city's northeast side.

Rochester firefighters responded around 4:45 a.m. to a home on Barons Street, just off of Clifford Avenue. Firefighters say there is extensive damage to the first and second floors. They were able to get it under control within about 30 minutes. Investigators say the fire was caused by an electrical problem.
