Rochester Ranked High In Quality of Life

The Rochester area is receiving some top honors when it comes to the quality of life.

Bloomberg Business Week has ranked Rochester as one of its 50 best cities. Rochester came in at number 32.

It's being highlighted because of the historic Erie Canal and its museums and libraries.

The magazine says the median household income in the Rochester area is just over $37,000.  Rochester is reported to have an 8.4 percent unemployment rate.
