Olympic Gold Medalist Jenn Suhr and Roberts Wesleyan College President Dr. John Martin stopped by News 8 at Sunrise to talk about a big event planned for Friday's Homecoming.

Suhr, who graduated from Roberts Wesleyan, will be the featured performer at a pole vault competition beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday.  That will be followed by a fireworks celebration to honor Suhr's gold medal performance at the London Games.

The Homecoming event will be held in the stadium at Roberts Wesleyan.  It is free and open to the public, but you must have a ticket to attend.  They are available at all area Wegmans stores while supplies last.
