Two Suspects In Gates Sneaker Homicide Arraigned

The two men accused of the robbery and murder of a Rochester man at a Gates shoe store were arraigned in county court Thursday.
William Wilkins, 19, and Kesean McKenzie-Smith, 21, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, robbery and attempted robbery. The two are accused of robbing and killing Montre Bradley, 19, outside the "Street Game" shoe store on Chili Avenue in Gates. Bradley was killed in the early morning hours of August 31st as he was waiting to buy a new pair of sneakers.
Wilkins and Smith will be back in court on November 21st. Their trials are set to begin on February 25th.
