Woman Charged with DWI Under Leandra's Law

A Canandaigua woman was arrested for a felony DWI Friday evening.
Ontario County Sheriff's Office says Diana Huizinga was stopped on State Route 247 in the Town of Gorham with a flat tire.
Police found that she was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, was in possesion of cocaine, and had a 3-year-old child in the car.
Huizinga was charged with felony DWI under leandra's law, a DWI under the common law, and DWAI. She will appear in Gorham Town Court at a later date.
