Huge RGE Transformer Moved

Rochester Gas and Electric is making big moves and it has to do with their transformers.
Crews were on hand to help move a 186 ton transformer from Culver Road in Rochester to one of RG and E's substations on Blossom Road.
This is the first of three that will be moving. Each transformer measures out around 40 feet long, 14 feet tall, and carries 115,000 volts of electricity.
RG and E spokesman Dan Hucko says, "we're putting in a lot of other equipment at that substation; and so this is going there and it's going to take about two weeks for them to put it all together, test it and get it up and running."
RG and E anticipates the upgrades will provide better service to customers.
