According to a court filing by Kodak, the current sale of it's valuable patents, said by the company to be worth up to $2.6 billion dollars, may be put on hold.

In a statement, Kodak says, "Rather than file additional extensions of the hearing to approve the sale, Kodak today filed with the court a notice to adjourn the sale hearing until further notice."

The final hearing on the sale had ultimately been scheduled for mid-October.
