The U.S. Attorney's Office says it has charged Catalin Pitut, 28 and Dimitru Predoi, 41. They are accused of concealing pin hole cameras at ATM machines and molding material that can capture a person's bank information when they swipe their card.
Federal prosecutors say the pin hole camera shows a person entering their pin number.
Then a magnetic stripe reader captures the information on the victim's bank card.
Prosecutors say Pitut and Predoi were caught after a similar incident at an ATM in Broome County.
