Albion Man Arrested For Rape in Two Counties

An Albion man has been arrested and charged with rape in both Genesee and Orleans counties.

Scott Stanley is charged with four counts of rape and one count of criminal sexual act. New York State Police say Stanley had inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl. Police made the arrest after a three-month investigation. Stanley has been a registered sex offender since 2005.

Stanley remains in the Genesee County Jail on $45,000 bail.
