With a very strong early season test, Rush-Henrietta delivered on all defensive aspects, blanking highly rated Pittsford in a 21-0 win. The Royal Comets, defending Class AA champs in Section V, are now 2-0 this season.

R-H got their scoring going when Bay Barley plunged in from three yards out for a touchdown in the first quarter. Barley would score again in the second quarter on his way to 123 yards on 20 carries. Also stepping up big for the Comets, senior Chauncey Scissum who intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble.

Pittsford falls to 1-1 with the loss.
