Eleven SUNY Geneseo Girls Arrested For Hazing

Eleven girls associated with the SUNY Geneseo women's volleyball team are facing charges for hazing, which left one girl in the hospital.

They are all charged with hazing and unlawfully dealing with a child. Geneseo Police say the girls threw a party over the weekend in which eight freshman teammates were blindfolded, handcuffed and ordered to drink alcohol. Nine of the 11 girls are under the drinking age. An 18-year-old girl was taken to the hospital Sunday for alcohol poisoning. College officials have suspended the girls from team practices and games. Further disciplinary action is pending.

The 11 girls will appears in court October 9th to answer to the charges.
