Updated: September 7, 2012
A school bus flipped over Friday morning after it was struck by a pick-up truck in the town of Rushville.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 1 and Baldwin Road. The bus had 26 kids from the Marcus Whitman Central School District on board. School officials say the bus was making a left turn in dense fog when it was struck by the pick-up truck. The impact flipped the bus over to its side into a cornfield.

No serious injuries were reported. Five students were taken to the hospital with bumps and bruises.
