School bus involved in four vehicle crash on Scottsville Road

Investigators say just before 9 o'clock Thursday morning, a man driving his motorcycle was headed southbound on Scottsville Road, followed by a school bus from the Newark district.
A pickup truck heading northbound was stopped, waiting to make a left hand turn when the pickup truck was struck from behind. The collision sent the pickup truck into the southbound lane where it struck the motorcycle, and the school bus then struck the northbound vehicle.
A 10-year-old child, a monitor and a driver were on the bus but none of them were injured.. The driver's of the other two involved vehicles were not injured. The motorcyclist was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injures.
