The Livingston County Director of Public Health says there are now 10 people with confirmed E. Coli infections.
It also seems the infection is branching out, one of those cases is from Onondaga County.
Six of the cases are of the same "sub-type" meaning they may have come from the same place.
Livingston County health investigators are interviewing patients to determine if any of them have crossed paths; maybe eaten at the same restaurant or shopped at the same supermarkets.
Undercooked meat and unpasteurized milk or juice are common sources of E. Coli contamination.
Symptoms include severe diarrhea and abdominal cramps. Serious complications are a concern for the very young and the elderly.
The county first announced the E. Coli outbreak on their website on August 17.
