Buffalo State Students On Alert

Buffalo State College is putting its students on alert after several of its students were the victims of violence near campus grounds over the weekend.

According to our affiliate, WIVB-TV, a student was shot and two female students were robbed with a matter of hours. The shooting happened around 11:20 p.m. Friday when police received reports of a fight between several young men. One man was left with a gunshot wound to the arm. Hours later, just before 4 a.m., two female student had their purses snatched.

Police and school officials are encouraging students to be cautious of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity they see.
