Fire At Vacant Home On Sherwood Ave.

Rochester firefighters are investigating an overnight house fire.

Firefighters were called to Sherwood Avenue around 6:15 a.m. They could see flames shooting out of the back of a vacant home that is owned by the city. It took firefighters 20 minutes to get the fire out. They had a hard time getting in because the house was boarded up. No word yet on what caused the fire.
