Two Arrested in Whitney St. Homicide

Two men have been arrested in connection with a recent homicide in the city of Rochester.

Miles Mitchell, 23, and James Hillyard, 25, were both arraigned in Rochester City Court on charges of second-degree murder and robbery. Police say the two are responsible for the death of Joshua Groat, who was killed on Whitney Street Saturday. Groat was found in a parking lot beaten and shot. He was pronounced dead at Strong Hospital.

Rochester Police will address the arrest at a news conference at 2:30 p.m.
