Deadly Car Crash In Wayne County

There was a deadly car crash Thursday morning in Wayne County.
The Sheriff's
Office says it happened in the Town of Huron on Route 104 near Fifth Road.
Deputies say Rufus Famotibe, 52, was a passenger in a car that was going
westbound.
The driver of the car Samuel Famotibe, 19 crossed into the opposite lane of
traffic and it hit head on with a pickup truck. Rufus Famotibe was pronounced dead at the
scene.
Samuel was flown to Strong Hospital for his injuries. The driver of the
other car Benjamin Cook, 33, of Lyons was taken to Strong by ambulance.
His passenger Galvin Carr, 38, was taken by Mercy Flight to a Syracuse
hospital. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
