In just a few hours, the wait will be over!

More tickets will be put on sale to watch the U.S. women's soccer team and Rochester star Abby Wambach take on Costa Rica. A total of 1,000 new tickets will go on sale Thursday at noon. They'll be sold only online and they expect them to sell out in minutes.

That's great news for people who want to see Abby Wambach play. The game is what they were talking about at the East Irondequoit soccer team practice Thursday.

Last week 11,000 tickets sold out quickly. The new tickets will be bleacher seats at Sahlen's Stadium.

"My brother is trying to get a press credential. They didn't get back to him yet," said Erin Maggio.

"I saw it in the paper so we planned that we were going to get tickets. We wanted to get them and be one of the first ones. Once we saw that we could get them ahead of time, it was a definite," said Meghan Yates.

If you still can't get a ticket for the game, the U.S. women's soccer team will practice the day before on Friday, August 31. Practice will take place at 11:30 and is free to the public. Tickets are not needed for that practice.
