Number of E.Coli Cases Down to Six in Livingston County

The number of E. Coli cases in Livingston County is now down to six, according to health officials.

A reported seven people in Livingston County had been infected with the bacteria, but state test results showed that only six were infected. Four of those people were hospitalized. Two have been discharged. The county health department says 10 others have called in with the symptoms of E.coli infection, but none have been confirmed as of yet.

The source of the infection has not been determined. The county will confer with the state health department to discuss the next step.
