Fire investigators have arrested two Rochester women on attempted arson charges.

The Arson Task Force says Ashley Brown, 21, and Yasmine Hall, 21, tried to fire bomb a house at 979 Avenue D in Rochester. The two are accused of lighting a Molotov cocktail and throwing it at the home. The bottle landed just short of the home and just missed a person standing outside. There were people inside the home at the time, but no one was injured.
