Move To Keep Bills In Buffalo

By: WROC-TV
Updated: August 8, 2012
Senator Chuck Schumer is putting pressure on the NFL so the Bills can stay in Buffalo.

Our affiliate WIVB in Buffalo is reporting that Schumer wants the NFL to amend a loan program that would preserve a certain rule.

A new owner would get penalized for moving the Bills from Ralph Wilson Stadium. This all comes as the Bills lease expires next July.

The team and the NFL are in negotiations with Erie County as the Bills look to upgrade Ralph Wilson Stadium.
