Brockport Man Charged After Stabbing

A Brockport man is facing assault charges after a stabbing that happened Friday night on West Avenue.

Brockport Police say Stephen Dagget is being charged with first degree assault, a class B felony, and criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor.

Police were originally called to Lakeside Memorial Hospital after a man said he had been assaulted with a knife. Brockport Police and the New York State Police k-9 force found Dagger a few hours later hiding behind a Market Street Address.

Dagget is at Monroe County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
