Emergency crews have been called for the report of a home that exploded in Corning in Steuben County. Our affiliate WENY reports that Steuben County Management officials have gotten initial reports of an explosion on Wilson Street.

Fire crews are now on the scene of a working structure fire. Neighbors say they felt their homes shake.

A neighbor says he and another person pulled two men from the rubble, after the home explosion rocked the neighborhood.

The neighbor tells us there were two men in the home, and were burned but able to walk after being pulled from the debris.

Corning Fire Chief John Tighe says the victims were an elderly man in his 80's, and his grandson who was in his 30's.  The two men were airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Their identities and conditions are unknown at this time.
