Rochester Has A Lot Of Olympians

The Rochester area has a lot to brag about when it comes to the Summer Olympic games in London.

The Atlantic Magazine broke down the number of athletes competing in the games and where they are from in the United States.

For smaller metro areas Rochester leads the way with 1.7 athletes per 100,000 people. Los Angeles boasts the most number of athletes in the games with 43.

Some of the smaller metro cities like Rochester include Cheyenne, Wyoming, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Boulder, Colorado.
