On a stormy Tuesday night a dozen friends and family members gathered in the rain holding a sign and pictures of Adam Chase, missing since June 14.

"He would never miss a family holiday," said his sister Jessica Chase.  "He would never miss anything that had to do with the family."  Standing next to her sister Becky she added, "He missed her graduation, her high school graduation."

Chase's sisters organized the Rally for Adam across from his home on Mott Street in Stanley, Ontario County.  "Trying to keep my hopes up," said Becky when asked how she has handled the past six weeks.  "I'm just hoping he comes home as soon as possible and I really hope he's safe."

The rally was a surprise to Chase's wife Rose.  She acknowledged tension with Chase's family since his disappearance.  With their son at her side, she made an appeal to her husband of 11 years.  "Adam, if you are seeing this, can you please come home to your family, they really do miss you, and if anybody knows where Adam is please contact the Ontario County Sheriff's so this way the family can know how he is and that he's okay," she said.

Rose said she and Chase had an argument and he left their house to clear his head.  Five days after Chase was reported missing by his mother, investigators say a text message from his cell phone was sent from Canandaigua.  There's been nothing since.  Chase's sisters said there were two texts on June 19, one to each of their parents. "It said, staying with a friend in Canandaigua, need time to think," said Jessica about the identical texts to her parents. "Now my brother has never texted either one of my parent, he's always called."

Six weeks after he vanished, the Chase sisters are still trying to generate public interest in their brother's disappearance.  "Just because he's a 31 year old guy doesn't put any less importance on it," said Jessica.

Anyone with information about Adam Chase's whereabouts is asked to call the Ontario County Sheriff's Office at 585-394-4560 or dial 911.
