The lock-down at Monroe High School has been lifted this morning.  Police say the school, on Alexander Street, went into lock-down mode around 9 o'clock Monday morning after a student reported seeing another student with a gun.

Rochester Police say no gun was found and the lock-down was lifted just before 11:00 a.m. Summer school is in session at Monroe.

Police and school district officials checked surveillance video and officers completed a full building sweep, going into each classroom. Officers will remain on site for a few more hours.
