Thad, I cannot believe you have this opinion. It puzzles me that anyone would argue what the NCAA is doing is not right. Penn State could have argued such as you about the NCAA authority, but choose not to. Why? This case is unprecedented in many ways. The NCAA, right or wrong, to the non-college sport super fan is the face of College sports, and had to step in. Organizational failures plagued the Penn State football team, which is clear today, I believe what the NCAA is doing is setting an example across college sports and putting all organizations on notice. Have they made the right decisions in that past? maybe not but it must start somewhere. As far as fairness to the students and staff go, I think its clear life is tough and not everything is fair. The boys whom were abused and [censored] where treated unfair by the Football organization. I do believe the Students and staff that are being penalized by association would much rather be collateral damage to this nightmare than be a part of it. I think is disappointing once again sports comes first to all. Maybe the students that are trapped at Penn State can focus their energy in math and science.
