Fundraiser for Victim of Domestic Abuse Aims to Help Families

A community is hoping to turn a tragic event into a way that can help other families. It was 2 years ago in February 7-year-old Hunter Resch was shot and killed by his father during a domestic incident.
On Saturday, friends stepped up in a big way to help spread the message about stopping domestic violence. They hosted a carnival in Greece, and a foundation that's been set up to honor Hunter's memory has helped a number of families.
Organizers say since they started the foundation in Resch's name they have helped 12 families from as far away as California and as close as Hilton.
