A local 1-year-old is battling a rare form of cancer and now needs your help.
Trey'Len Jones has retinoblastoma. It's a tumor that grows into his right eye.
Trey'Len's mom, Roshana, says doctors at Strong Hospital sent her son to Philadelphia where he must get his treatments.
After surviving two separate tumors, Roshanda says chemotherapy is not enough to get rid of the remaining seeds which grow the tumors.
That's why Trey'Len needs to receive a new medicine called Melphalan that his health insurance does not cover. Roshanda's son needs four injections of the medication that costs 2,000 dollars each treatment.
Now, the family is asking for your help. They have set up a website to help cover Trey'Len's medical costs.
"I couldn't understand why it could be me, but my son is what makes me happy, he makes the day go by, he's precious, he has so much joy, so I decided to do a fundraiser in his name," said Roshanda Brown.
