Rochester Police are investigating a stabbing that happened late Tuesday that sent one man to the hospital.

Officers were called to Lexington Avenue for the report of a stabbing. Police say the suspect and the victim were involved in an argument. That's when officers say the two got into a physical fight.

Police say the suspect stabbed the 36-year-old victim with a knife multiple times in the lower body. The victim then got the knife away from the suspect.

The man who was stabbed was able to get away from the scene on a bicycle. He was then taken to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim was listed in guarded condition.
