The names of the deceased have not been released, but the U.S. Coast Guard says they were all adult men. The Coast Guard says their 26-foot boat hit a dayboard Thursday evening, causing the three to be ejected. Multiple crews and agencies participated in the search for the victims. A New York State Police dive team located the bodies around 7:45 a.m. Friday.
The boat is still partially underwater. Authorities plan to remove the boat Saturday. The incident is still under investigation.
