By: WROC-TV
Updated: July 5, 2012
Friday, July 6th, could be one of the hottest days of the year, and people are being urged to take precaution if they have to be outdoors for any length of time.

In anticipation of the hot weather the city of Rochester will again start up its "Cool Sweep" program, where people can cool off at local spray parks. There is also a heat emergency tomorrow in the city. The city puts that into effect when temperatures are expected to get above 90 degrees.
