Unity Health Cutting Jobs

By: WROC-TV
Updated: July 3, 2012
Unity Health has decided to scale back some positions.

The organization has eliminated 72 positions, most which are at the management and supervisory levels. Of those 72, 30 of them were already vacant. Only four employees were able to be moved into other positions. The organization cites budgeting and strategy as reasons of the cutbacks.

Unity Health currently employs over 5,000 people. They say none of the cuts will impact patient care.
