Geneva Woman Charged Under Leandra's Law

A Geneva woman is facing charges for crashing her car into a house with her two children inside.

Shanna Downing, 24, is facing DWI charges. Geneva Police say she drove her SUV into a house on Middle Street in Geneva. Her 4-year-old  and 5-year-old were both in the vehicle at the time. Police say Downing was intoxicated at the time of the crash. All three were taken to the hospital for evaluation. No injuries were reported.

Downing is in the Ontario County Jail on $6,000 bail.
