The Greece students accused of bullying bus monitor Karen Klein learned their punishment Friday.

The Greece School District has decided to suspend the students involved from school and bus transportation for an entire year. In addition, each of them will be required to complete 50 hours community service and participate in a bullying prevention program. District officials say the students will be transferred to its Reengagement Center because the district is required by law to provide an education to students ages 5 to 16.

The students can apply for early re-admission into Greece Athena Middle School if they have met the conditions of their discipline and in good academic standing after 30 weeks.
