First Annual Mia Walk

One local group is raising awareness for animals born with birth defects.

The "Walk for Mia" was at Seneca Park Saturday

The walk was sponsored by the mia foundation.

You may remember her story touched many people in our area. Mia died back in April of this year after a battle with pneumonia....she had a cleft palate. Mia's story has gone worldwide...over 8 thousand people have clicked on her story on facebook.

The Mia Foundation's efforts are geared toward educating the public and assist dogs in need of support, care and expensive surgeries and treatments.

Yay Mia! :) Angels are hard to come by these days but she was surely the littlest one with the most influence. :)
