Man Arrested for Allegedly Threatening Wife with Sledgehammer

A man was arrested Saturday night after he raised a sledgehammer at his wife.
Ontario County Deputies say that Ronald Gable was drunk and got into a verbal altercation with his wife. He smashed a radio in the garage with the sledgehammer and then went into the house where he raised it in a threatening manner at his wife. Gable's children witnessed the incident.
Gable is being charged with menacing in the 2nd degree and endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held at Ontario County Jail without bail.
Gable will appear before the Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
