News 8's No Texting and Driving Campaign

Our News 8 family is asking you to keep your family safe by not texting and driving. Summer can be one of the most dangerous time of the year on the road, especially for young drivers.

Triple A says 40% of all accidents happen because people don't pay attention. More than one hundred 16 and 17 year-old's died in car wrecks last summer. It's illegal in New York State to text or use your cell phone when driving. There's a push to make that the law everywhere.
