Weekend Closures For Irondequoit Bay Bridge Begins

If your weekend travels usually take you over the Bay Bridge, you will have to find a new way to get there for at least the next four weekends.
The first closure of the Route 104 bridge begins Friday night. All westbound lanes will close at 8 p.m. They will not reopen until 6 a.m. Monday morning. The closure will happen on weekends through the summer while crews are working to repair four bridge joints. Detours will be posted.
