Over Twelve Thousand Tickets Issued During New York's Buckle Up Campaign

State Police say the campaign was held from May 21st to June 3rd. Drivers can be fined up to $100 dollars for each passenger under the age of 16 that is not properly restrained in a car. The driver can also receive violation points on their record with the state DMV.
