Brockport's Main Street Bridge Re-opens

By: WROC-TV
Updated: June 16, 2012
The Main Street Lift bridge in Brockport that has been closed for repairs is back open for motorists to use. The bridge has been closed since last month so that repairs could be made.

Twelve thousand drivers had to take alternate routes while the bridge was repaired. That added time to their commute and drivers had to follow marked detour signs. Crews replaced cables that lift the bridge. There was also surface construction that was done as well.
