Sutton Sentenced for 2011 Domestic Homicide

A Rochester man was sentenced to 25 years in state prison for murdering a woman inside her apartment last year.

Samuel Sutton appeared in court Wednesday and was sentenced on a manslaughter charge. He was originally charged with second-degree murder in August 2011 for the death of Melanie Maxwell. Maxwell's daughter found her lifeless body on the floor of her Saratoga Avenue apartment.
