Updated: June 1, 2012
The Rochester teenager who drowned in Saranac Lake last weekend was laid to rest Friday.

Keenan Green, 19, was part of a local Christian volunteer organization known as YoungLife. New York State Police say he went swimming, went under the water and never resurfaced. Volunteers were not able to rescue him in time. Green graduated from Irondequoit High School in 2011.

Calling hours for Green will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Elim Christian Fellowship Church on East Main Street. The funeral will begin immediately following the calling hours.
