Local Memorial Day Events

There are several different Memorial Day events going on around Monroe County.
Here is a brief list:
Gates: Gates Town Hall, 1605 Buffalo Road, 9 a.m.
Irondequoit: Irondequoit Cemetery, 1280 Titus Avenue, 9 a.m.
Fairport: Memorial Day Parade beginning at 10 a.m. The parade will start at the corner of Whitney Road and Main Street; continue south on Main Street to Church Street and west on Church Street to Potter Park, where the parade will end and ceremonies will follow.
City of Rochester: Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. The parade forms on East Avenue at Alexander Street, proceeds along East Avenue to the Liberty Pole on Main Street, then heads west to Plymouth Avenue.
Penfield: Memorial Day Ceremony of Remembrance at Penfield Amphitheater in Veterans' Memorial Park, 3100 Atlantic Avenue, 10:30 a.m.
Greece: Annual Memorial Day Parade, Long Pond Road, from Janes Road to Greece Town Hall, 2 p.m. The town of Greece Memorial Day Ceremony immediately following the Parade at Greece Town Hall. Long Pond Road, between Janes Road and Latta Road will be closed from 1:30 p.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m. for the parade.
