Boys Lacrosse: Irondequoit 20, Victor 11

Irondequoit showed why they've been at the top of the class in Section V boys lacrosse after thumping Victor 20-11 in the Section V Class B semifinal.

The dual threat of seniors Jake Schmidt (5 goals) and Nick Doktor (3 goals, 4 assists) helped the Eagles (16-2) stay in control throughout.

Gunnar Miller, Briele Caples, and George Jerman each pickde up hat tricks in the win. Irondequoit is in the Section V Final for the 6th straight year. The Eagles will face Canandaigua in the title game on Tuesday.

For Victor their leading scorer was John Maloney who picked up two goals and two assists. The Blue Devils end their season with a 10-8 record.
